Scotland Hour took part in Social Media Week Glasgow on Wednesday 26th September 2012, in a session called, “How To Grow Your Idea Online”.
From the simplest of ideas often comes the best of ideas, and #Scotlandhour falls into this category. It started with one man’s idea and we can show you the tips and techniques used to grow it into its position as THE monthly networking event for tourism businesses.
It was a special night at the Argyll hotel in Glasgow’s Westend. A crowd gathered downstairs in the Sutherland bar and many had travelled far to support our event. Mark Calpin General Manager of Hamilton Holiday Inn Express was our host for the night. Mark put forward an excellent presentation and we heard about the birth, the growth and the future of #Scotlandhour.
