Photographs of Scotland – October 2020

We’ve said it before but it’s no less true, still, in October. 2020 has been a challenging year. We’ve continued to hold #ScotlandHour as a means: for all of us to come together in support of one another, in celebration of what makes our beloved Scotland so great and in continued desire to always be an active part in promotion of tourism in Scotland which employs and benefits so many of us. As well as those we know and love in the best, and even in the worst, of times. We truly have something special in Scotland that isn’t found elsewhere, don’t ya think?

This year in adhering to our mission as stated above we have had as topics: health and wellbeing, out and about, celebration, autumn, and our wonderful beverage industries – gin, whisky, and beer. This month we want to focus on telling the stories of Scotland through photos. We, and our sponsor Away from the Ordinary, want to see your photos of Scotland. We don’t need your best photos, so don’t feel pressure if you’re “not a photographer.” We just want you to share the photos you have that cover the prompts below. And this is why we have this site and have always tried to publish our questions in advance every month. To give you time to prepare and look back, to dig those photos up and get them ready to tweet. Don’t forget you can even schedule them to be tweeted so you don’t have to scramble as much on the night of.

If you have any doubts about how to do that, contact our team member @KirstenAlana who is happy to help in the interest of making #ScotlandHour great as well as fun for all. Just send her a DM on Twitter. (She normally charges for that so take advantage of it if you can, this is a special just for our ScotlandHour community.)

The homepage of our website says ‘ScotlandHour Supporting Scottish Tourism’ and that is what we will always continue to do. We hope you will join us and sponsor Away from the Ordinary on October 28 at 9 PM. We can’t wait to see your photos!

Thanks, and continue to keep safe everyone,
the Scotland Hour Team
