Meet the #ScotlandHour Team

Founded by Dougie Baird in 2011, #ScotlandHour started as fun way to tell fellow travellers all about Scotland. It’s now grown to a great way to promote tourism in and around Scotland. Team member Susan McNaughton left in 2015 to pursue other activities and new team members Glen Moyer and Vivian Maeda joined in June 2016.  All are and have been very active in supporting and pushing #ScotlandHour. The team below have significant experience and knowledge in tourism. In no particular order:

Kirsten (aka @kirstenalana)
Kirsten is a freelance photographer and social media specialist based in the USA.

She has visited Scotland many times and continues to do so whenever she gets the chance for work or pleasure after falling deeply in love with the people, the traditions, the landscapes and more during her first ever visit in 2012. She was part of the first ever Blogmanay.

Kirsten works very hard throughout the year to help be an Ambassador for all the places she has been around the world through her owned channels and on social media but Scotland is one of her specialties. She’s always willing to return so as to get to know Scotland even more in depth.
